Kip McGrath Falkirk specialises in ENGLISH, READING, SPELLING AND MATHS tutoring. The Kip McGrath Education Centre in Falkirk is located in the modern Glenbervie Business Park, within the Glenbervie Business Centre. It is ideally situated to serve the growing populations of Larbert, Falkirk and Grangemouth, with easy access from the M876 motorway and all main routes.

Experienced Tutors:

There are a number of professional teachers employed at the 'Centre' with varying skills.

We offer specific tutoring in English (including READING, WRITING and SPELLING), and Mathematics for all students from levels A - F.

In addition, we employ subject specialist teachers to deliver tutoring inoprder to prepare students for all levels of S.Q.A qualifications (including Standard Grade, Intermediate 1 and 2 and Higher). The subjects we currently cover include; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and others as required.

KIPcamp is coming to Falkirk for the First time!

Kipcamp will be at the Falkirk Centre for 7 weeks during the summer holidays. It will run from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday for children in P1-3/P4-6/P7-S2 (Places are limited to 10 students per week).

Activities will include - 'Food for thought', 'Mindmapping', 'Your Style', Brainboost', 'Many Intellegences - 1 Brain', 'OlympiTHINK', 'PCWORLD', 'goGadgetgo', Puzzlemania.........and many more!

What We Do:

At KMEC Falkirk we build on a wealth of experience and proven tutoring techniques to provide a quality tutoring service.

With focused and relevant teaching methods tailored to meet each student's needs, a key part of our philosophy is to develop and build good working relationships with our parents and students, building their confidence and helping them to believe "they can succeed".

All lessons are 80 minutes in duration and include a variety of computer based programmes, worksheets and hands-on teaching. These are all designed to make the topics more interesting and in turn highly motivating. Each child works on his / her own programme independent of others.

Each tutor has a maximum of five students, all using a one-to-one teaching approach. No two students have the same teaching programme as each student receives individual tuition with their personal tutor. All of the programmes we use are developed and regularly monitored under the direct supervision of the Centre Director, Janice. They are designed to enhance, rather than replace your child's schoolwork.

Students attend KMEC for a variety of reasons; some students feel that they are being left behind due to a change of school, a move to a new area, illness or learning difficulties such as; Dyslexia, Asberger's Syndrome; Dyspraxia or ADHD. Others come to receive a boost in their chosen subject or where they are aiming to excel and progress beyond the Scottish 5 -14 guidelines or Standard Grades. All of our students come for the 'Kip McGrath Falkirk Experience'.

Our quality tuition service is delivered by a team of fully qualified teachers who bring with them a wealth of experience gained in a range of relevant fields within education. They are appointed only after a rigorous selection process and full training in KMEC materials and programmes to ensure that our high standards and ethos are maintained. All of our tutors are registered "General Teaching Council for Scotland" teachers and are approved under the terms of the "Disclosure Scotland Act".

Our team regularly undertakes staff development training in range of relevant topics in order to keep updated with all current initiatives and techniques.
